A <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.augsburgfortress.org\/the-work-of-susan-palo-cherwien\">2021 Augsburg Fortress blog post<\/a> highlights a few of these and in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gHPFdm9N_Jw\">2021 video,<\/a> Susan shares more about her hymn &#8220;Christ Is the Life, a hymn inspired by the words of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.<\/p>\n<p>Susan was also well-known for her poetic worship reflections published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morningstarmusic.com\">MorningStar Music Publishers.<\/a> You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.susanpalocherwien.com\/long-bio?fbclid=IwAR165K8OTk17Q5EuK9lq6m7erGjWBs-_tTxGAIDeEUSoBitZOfbEUiXxlJE\">read more<\/a>\u00a0in her own words about her vocation as poet and hymnwriter. She often wrote and delivered meditations as part of hymn festivals led with her spouse, composer and church musician David Cherwien.
