As spoken in the video <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/MPiYCmneZuQ?si=M-qSLReMiglP_VvF\"><em>ELCA Advocacy: Set free to do justice<\/em><\/a>, \u201cOur commitment to every human being and [creation] that Jesus cared about doesn&#8217;t sway with one election or another. Synod held a <a href=\"https:\/\/metrodcelca.org\/event\/pre-election-prayer-service\/\">Pre-election Prayer Service<\/a> at Lutheran Church of the Reformation. Many ELCA congregations are <strong>hosting vigils and similar reflection times<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">\ud83d\udccc <strong>Commitment to see one another as neighbors<\/strong> include member or faith community initiatives like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cg-usa.org\/initiatives\/love-anyway-feasts\">Love Anyway Feasts<\/a> and stepping forward with aims at &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.elca.org\/advocacy\/addressing-polarization\/\">Addressing Polarization and Building Cohesion in Your Community<\/a>&#8221; like those described in the blog post among others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"activators\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #333399\">ACTIVATORS<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Thank you<\/strong> to the nearly 300 of us who were part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.elca.org\/advocacy\/elca-election-activator-network\/\">ELCA Election Activator Network<\/a>, including many who participated in support and resourcing non-partisan civic engagement as people of faith.
