Inflation affects both a church\u2019s finances and its members\u2019 finances as the price of groceries, gas, clothing and other necessities rapidly increases. While these prices are rising, cost-of-living increases aren\u2019t matching them, which means a dollar is worth less today than it was a year ago.\u00a0How can you weather this latest crisis and come out on the other side with a still strong ministry. Church Mutual is publishing a series of blog posts on how different types of organizations can best handle inflation. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.churchmutual.com\/inflations-effect-on-houses-of-worship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here<\/a> it offers five tips for houses of worship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s love got to do with it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We all know the commandment to \u201clove thy neighbor as thyself,\u201d but how does this apply to rostered ministers? As reported on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/09\/03\/1120917859\/facing-burnout-many-faith-leaders-are-leaving-their-ministries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NPR in September 2022<\/a>, burnout among faith leaders is at an all-time high. The apostle Paul reminds us that if we have not love, we have nothing.
