When in Chrome…

Posted on September 2nd, 2008 by Len Mason

Today, Google released their own version of what they think a Web Browser should be. Dubbed Chrome, Google’s browser uses a new way of thinking on how a browser should act and display your Web pages.

Because of this new way of displaying Web sites, your online experience is reported to be faster, safer, and easier to navigate. For more on the nuts and bolts of how Chrome is different from browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox, Google produced a comic book which explains quite nicely how it all works.

But you don’t have to know how it works to see that there are some great features. The most noticiable is the speed. Chrome is super-fast! Pages load quickly and are ready to read in milliseconds. But most importantly, www.elca.org looks great in Chrome!

Download Chrome and see for yourself. It’s pretty sweet.
