We frequently share stories and photos from the malaria programs of our Lutheran partners in Africa, but if you truly want a glimpse of what the program looks like on the ground, you are encouraged to check out our selection of videos.

This five-minute video shares a general overview of the ELCA Malaria Campaign, and why we are called do the work that we do. This is a great video for an adult forum or an education hour to introduce your congregation to the ELCA Malaria Campaign.

If you don’t have time to show the full five-minutes, here is a two-minute version! This is useful for worship services, or to enhance a temple talk when time is limited.
The next video highlights the great work of the Lutheran Malaria Program in Zambia, and also runs about two minutes. This video is more of a field report, which demonstrates the many interventions of a comprehensive malaria program. It effectively shows how the program is making a difference in Zambian communities. This is great for an audience who wonders “What does the Lutheran Malaria Program look like?” Your support of the ELCA Malaria Campaign is making a difference and enables work like this.
This two-minute video showcases the Lutheran Malaria Program in Malawi. Similar to the Zambia video, it is a field report in which you hear about the measurable impact of the Malaria Program from local health care professionals and clergy.
These programs would not be possible without the faithful commitment of church leaders. In this video, hear Bishop Joseph Bvumbe of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi speak about malaria and poverty as obstacles that hinder people from seeing the love of Christ. As members of the Body of Christ, we are called to care for our neighbors and work against this medical injustice together.
