Today is World Malaria Day. Today, the ELCA Malaria Campaign asks you to join together with millions of people around the world and ELCA members across the United States in the fight against malaria.

With your gift today, you can be a part of making malaria history. Five years ago we established a goal, dreamed big with our Lutheran companion churches and partners, and set out to raise $15 million by 2015. You can be a part of making that dream a reality – today.

By working together, we have seen great success. Lutheran malaria programs stretch into 13 African countries and have impacted more than 2 million people with efforts to prevent and treat malaria.

Thanks to your faithful support, we have already raised over 90 percent of the $15 million goal and we are nearing the fulfillment of our commitments to several programs. But five countries still depend on your support. The time is now. Join our Lutheran companion churches and partners to fully fund our commitments to the rest of these programs and reach our goal for the ELCA Malaria Campaign. Be a part of history with a gift that helps create a future free from malaria.
