As you may already know, we are at a historic time in the life of this church and the ELCA Malaria Campaign. Thanks to the support and leadership of people like you, the campaign has raised more than 90 percent of its $15 million goal and is at work in 13 countries in Africa.

The impact that the ELCA Malaria Campaign has had on ELCA members, congregations, and our African brothers and sisters has been and will continue to be significant. It is our hope that you will take time during your 2015 Synod Assembly to rejoice in the generosity and give thanks for the work we have achieved with our Lutheran companion churches and partners. Several resources have been developed to help you and your synod celebrate what we have accomplished together. Adapt and use the resources that fit your context best as you create a meaningful observance in your synod.

By clicking on the link you’ll find:

  • Two versions of a speech (a short version and a longer version)
  • A PowerPoint presentation to accompany the long-version speech
  • A slideshow of images from programming in Africa
  • Information on how to access giving reports for your synod
  • A litany for healing and thanksgiving
  • A flyer to use in packets for attendees

Don’t forget – we are here for you! Email malaria@elca.org if you have any questions or would like more information. These resources can only be accessed through the link, so save it to your favorites or return to this blog if you’d like to view the page in the future.

P.S. A special ELCA Malaria Campaign Thank You video is coming soon – we will let you know when it is available!
