Memorials complete
The 2011 ELCA Churchwide Assembly completed it’s work on memorials (resolutions from the 65 synods of the ELCA). With a 676-196 vote, the assembly declined to implement changes in governing documents that would increase the number of voting members to Synod Assemblies and Churchwide Assemblies who are non-rostered layperson. With a 796-93 vote, the assembly amended a resolution about Lutheran campus ministries.
