Class of 2011 ELCA Church Council honored
The Churchwide Assembly honored the Class of 2011 ELCA Church Council. The class gathered on stage and were introduced individualy, receiving a citation in recognition for their faithful service.
ELCA Presiding Bishop also acknowledged the service of six synod bishop who, since the last Churchwide Assembly, have retired, resigned or completed — or soon will complete — their terms in office. Hanson also named those synod bishops elected.
