New video – Light Time

Posted on June 24, 2010 by Joel

The Archives has been added to the ELCA’s YouTube and we’ve uploaded our first video.

Light Time was a 15-minute syndicated TV program that was produced by the National Lutheran Council in Chicago, starring Jim Stewart, and from time-to-time, some puppets. We’ve only transferred a few of the programs from 16mm film, but we’ll upload those we have.

I was a child actor on two episodes (“Revenge” and “Brotherhood II,” I think) and would give a lot to have copies of those! I remember playing a cave boy in the second one.

We do have 16mm film copies of both of those episodes. I will add them to my list of films to transfer for next year, as this year’s batch has already been ordered. I will email you when they are completed.
